    The Duo Setup

Grab a partner and sign up as a fixed duo! You and your partner will stay together for the entire day, competing as a team against other local pairs.

    Flexible Drop-In & Court Usage

Play runs from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Since this is a community play day, we do not reserve courts. We will utilize open courts as available, and non-tournament players can use open courts as usual. Arriving late? No problem! Teams dropping in up to 3:00 PM will receive a starting “Average Entry Score” based on active players, keeping you competitive and in the running for the playoffs.

6 or 3 – Set Format Based on Volume Of Players

Every match is played as a single set to 6 games. Every game you win counts as 1 point toward your team’s total leaderboard score. Plus, the winning pair of each set earns a +2 point win bonus!

    Court Rotation & Queue

Winners stay on court (up to a maximum of 2 consecutive matches), while the losing pair cycles into the top of the waiting queue. This keeps the courts moving fast and ensures everyone gets plenty of play time.

The Finals, Playoff Bracket & Prizes

At 5:30  or 6:00 PM, pool play ends and the total scores are tallied. The top 4 teams on the live leaderboard advance to the Semi-Finals and Championship set.

Every player who qualifies for the Semi-Finals is a winner and will receive a free VPTS membership plus a surprise prize package featuring VPTS apparel and accessories!

    After-Party & Awards Ceremony (8:00 PM @ Firestone Walker)

    Self-Officiating & Fair Play

During group stages, matches are self-refereed, and players must make all calls on their respective sides of the net. If a conflict is anticipated, you may request a court monitor in advance, though availability is not guaranteed.

Remember, we are here to have fun in a fair and safe environment.

    Dispute Resolution

For repeated issues or scheduling conflicts, email the society with the subject “Schedule Conflict,” including player names and a screenshot or proof of the issue; and we will be the referee!

    Subscription & Refund Policy

To cancel, email the society at least 10 days before the next round begins. Cancellations made before this 10-day window incur a 30% fee on the remaining balance. If you cancel within 10 days of the round starting, a 50% fee is applied to the remaining subscription balance.
